lundi 4 octobre 2010 , Sandrine Beaujon

Contribute to the fourth annual EMEA summit

If you have not yet submitted a call for papers to secure your speaking slot at ID WORLD Abu Dhabi 2011 on April 3–4, the fourth annual EMEA summit on security, mobility and traceability, this week is your last chance to do so. The deadline for receiving Call for Paper submissions is 31st January 2011.

As the first appointment of 2011 in Wise Media’s drive to take the entire ID WORLD concept, with its different ramifications and special initiatives, to key regions and markets where the ID Revolution continues its reach, ID WORLD Abu Dhabi offers a crucial platform for you to communicate your needs, thought leadership or solutions to a high profile audience – whether you are an end-user, government agency or technology innovator.

The event, hosted under the patronage of UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.H. Sheik Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan takes place at the prestigious Yas Hotel on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. ID WORLD Abu Dhabi 2011 is furthermore endorsed by the European Commission, the Emirates Identity Authority and Abu Dhabi Police.

Once again, the event will host the Citizen ID Forum, the Transportation Security Forum and the Asset Tracking Forum that in the last seven years, took place as separate events in Berlin, Rome, Vienna, Istanbul, Milan, Amsterdam, Paris and three times in Abu Dhabi. The event will also include four special initiatives : the Global Migration Summit, Postal Innovation, HealthTech Innovation and the NFC Academy.

A Global and Regional Focus

In 2011, ID WORLD Abu Dhabi will focus on the following topics :

> Critical Infrastructure Security (from hubs and government installations to high security manufacturing and industrial plants, energy and oil and gas infrastructures)

> Next Generation User Experience (from self-service to mobility 2.0 : a new customer-centric approach to secure service delivery)

> Global Migration Trends (From citizen ID to citizen history – from legal to illicit – the economic impact of migration control and security)

> Recent Developments in Transportation Security (new and emerging state-of-the art projects and applications : airport, rail stations, seaports and subway stations)

> Recent Developments in Citizen ID (emerging government-driven citizen ID projects and their implications for improved citizen-centric services and national security in the era of global mobility)

> Key Citizen ID Projects : a second look at firsts (prime pioneering Citizen ID projects worldwide, including National ID projects, Voter Registration systems and Entitlement Schemes)

> Key Projects aimed to Secure our Borders : a second look at firsts (existing pioneering projects which have improved process performance and security in the transportation security industry)

> Traceability and Object-to-Object Communications (supply chain management, unique identification, anti-counterfeiting, ID in healthcare, innovations in postal services and express shipping, animal ID, RTLS in asset tracking)

> Mobility and Payments (growth in contactless, online security and authentication, mobile money, smart stickers and NFC, retail and leisure)

> Future Cities (urban security, mobility, waste diversion, energy efficiency)

> ID Technologies (future of RFID, future of barcode, future of biometrics, future of cards)
