This collaborative platform focuses on sharing and exchanging project, product, process and usage design data.
Need expression, requirement modeling, creativity activities, risk analysis or concept assessment can be done by a workgroup. TDC System acts as a complement to the data tools supporting design methodologies, such as TDC Worksuite. The approach is that of system engineering and integrated collaborative project management satisfying a worldwide group needs.
TDC System models your design-linked processes, such as routine and innovating design processes, V cycle or, for instance, the component purchasing process. You will be able to define the chosen methodology for each of these processes: Value analysis, Design for Six Sigma, FMEA’s, TRIZ, design for experiment and associated data tool supports. Each activity is handled in a project manager, as a GANTT diagram.
TDC System helps:
the project managers to track their project progress including potential consolidation,
the pilots/leaders to browse and move from one step to another and from one project to another, according to the rights they were granted,
the operational persons to be alerted about the changes in parent systems or subsystems that could have an impact or default feedback from production to research departments,
the directors to get project progress indicators as a dashboard: functional part change rate in the unrolling of the projects, most critical issues among all projects, move through a methodological milestone for a given project.
To start and CREATE and STRUCTURE the methodological data supporting the design process that will feed the collaborative engineering and the trade knowledge management, TDC Software also developed the TDC methodological worksuite. This software suite, has been rolled out for 15 years within numerous companies in all industries. It ensures the consistency of engineering data, requirement traceability and capitalisation of knowledge.

Hallmarked by the Véhicule du futur (vehicle of the future) cluster, CodeKF project offers a collaborative design and engineering platform, based on trade knowledge, focusing on the development of innovating design, thanks to reducing routine design.
The part of routine design currently accounts for 80% of the engineering and design departments time. The remainder is dedicated to innovation. Add to this the growing need to work in tight workgroups with third party partners, the codeKF project
satisfies this requirement to innovate, through collaborative management of the Project-Product-Process-Usage data, hence accelerating the engineering routine processes thanks to the systematic capitalisation of the trade knowledge of previous projects and their re-use with 4D CAD (parametric 3D CAD) integrating expert rules of the trades).
