Product Life Cycle Management 2011 Conference (IFIP TC5 WG 5.1 Global Product Development official conference)

2nd Call for Papers

In reaction to the first call for papers we received an good number of very interesting abstracts. We thank the authors for their effort. If you did not yet send an abstract, but might consider to submit a paper, please note that the deadline is February 6, and inform us by sending a mail with a very short abstract. Look at the PLM11 website : www.plm-conference.org for more details.

PLM11 is the place to meet researchers, developers, and users of PLM, to be informed about latest directions in research and trends in applications, to present your research results to an interested audience. Participating in this event enables to get involved in new initiatives. The conference program will give ample opportunity for attendees to influence the future PLM research and development agenda.

Contributions are invited on all aspects of PLM, including (see complete list on www.plm-conference.org) :

* PLM infrastructure and implementation processes,

* PLM maturity and improvement concepts,

* Organizational change management and PLM,

Venue

Eindhoven region is called "Brainport", the center of high tech manufacturing in the Netherlands with world leading companies like ASML, FEI, NXP, DAF Trucks, Océ, and many others. Their strategic outsourcing policies created a network of specialized high-tech suppliers.

Eindhoven offers beautiful touristic opportunities, being within 2 hours traveldistnace from attractive cities like Amsterdam, Maastricht, Aachen, Köln, Brussels, Antwerp, Brugge etc.

Paper Submission

Papers will be blind reviewed and published in conference Proceedring by Inderscience Publishers and may be considered for publication in the International Journal of Product Lifecycle Management (IJPLM, www.inderscience.com/ijplm). Submission instructions can be found on the PLM11 website :

www.plm-conference.org. Industry presentations or emerging research presentations are also welcome which do not require paper submission. Keynote speakers Dr. Erastos Filos, European Commission FP7 ICT Theme Coordinator, "Factories of the Future", (Information Society and Media Directorate-General) will deliver a speech on the current vision of the European calls.

Dr. Bertrand Braunschweig, head of the ICT department at the ANR funding agency will give a talk on the new programs of his department, including those in relationship with PLM.

Other invited outstanding speakers from industry and academia will take center stage to share insight with the audience of PLM11. They will be announced very soon at the conference website.
